Cleanup - 8/17

Today wasn't very exciting but it was necessary.  We loaded up all of our dirty laundry that's accumulated since we left Nicki's place in Eau Claire, WI on August 5th and hauled it to the laundromat in town.  It took four regular sized washing machines and two of the larger 35 lbs. washing machines to get everything clean.

After doing our laundry, we ran a few more errands and then had lunch at Applebee's.  After lunch, we spent most of the afternoon doing housework in the trailer.  It's amazing how dirty thing can get over the course of two weeks.  Plus the clutter that had accumulated was enough to drive me right out of the rig.  So we just took some time to get everything sorted out.

Next came dog bathing for Schatzi.  His coat gets very oily and then he becomes a dirt magnet.  Pearl doesn't seem to have the same problem so a simple brushing cleaned her up.

For the remainder of the afternoon, I sought the refuge of the trailer to stay cool.  It's not really that hot based on temperature (probably in the mid 80's) but the humidity is high as the dew point is sitting in the mid 60's.  I spent the time catching up on the web site.

Lewie went into town to visit friends and did his own thing while we did ours.  He arrived at our trailer around 6:00 pm and we played Liar's Dice for a couple of hours before calling it a day.
