We me Kim and Lynn at the Dalton Cafe this morning for breakfast. They make a great chicken fried steak and eggs. Denise and I plan to return before our return trip home. After breakfast, Lynn and Kim headed back to their home in Balaton, MN, about 2 1/2 hours mostly south of here. Denise, Lewie, and I went fishing. It was a nice day on the lake but we didn't catch much. A couple of bullheads and one sunnie was all we had to show for nearly 4 hours of fishing. Our butts were getting quite flat from the boat seats so we headed in for a break around 2:00 pm. After some lunch, Lewie and I went back out for another try . We fished until around 5:00 pm until the threat of a storm drove us off the lake. I am happy to report that we did not have to clean any fish! I don't know where they are today but they certainly aren't biting. It was an early evening for all of us. I spent the evening working of the web site while Denise watched TV. Another nice day. |
