Fished Saturday but lacked the knowledge and equipment to fish a lake that is that deep. Trolling just 15 - 20 ft. from shore and the bottom was 40 ft deep. Tried anchoring in a few coves but the bottom was so steep that the anchor just rolled down the hill and wouldn't stick.

And there was no place to tie up for a lunch break. The bank was to steep to beach it. The marina wouldn't allow "parking". The only option was to put the boat back on the trailer.

So with all of that, we said fuck it and came home today. Totally disappointing way to spend a four day weekend.
